Two Fife micro-brewers have been successful in the Society of Independent Brewers Association (SIBA) Scotland Region Beer Competition 2013
The Eden Brewery won a silver and bronze in the competition, and the St Andrews Brewing Company won a silver.
The breweries – both involved in the ongoing St Andrews Food and Drink Festival – are making their mark on the national and local brewing scene with exciting ranges of regular and guest ales in bottle and cask, and their products are stocked all over the country
Formed in 1980 as the Small Independent Brewers’ Association, SIBA represents the interests of the emerging new wave of microbrewers.
With growing credibility and campaigning success, SIBA has come to represent the broad spectrum of the independent brewing sector.
Renamed in 1995, SIBA is now one of the most authoritative and respected bodies in the brewing industry.
Membership of SIBA is open to breweries, suppliers to the brewing industry, and pubs that are committed in their support for the finest quality beer.
